Spotted a Bug? Help Us Fix It Faster!

You're our best partner in keeping GeoExtend running smoothly. When you find a bug, the more information you can provide in your first report, the faster our team can diagnose and fix it!

Use this guide to tell us exactly what we need to know.

✅Your 5-Point Bug-Squashing Checklist

Before you submit your ticket, please try to include these 5 key pieces of information:

1. What were you trying to do?

Give us the general goal.

  • e.g., "I was trying to approve a Pre-Qual."

  • e.g., "I was trying to mark a Job checklist item as done."

2. What steps did you take?

Be specific! This helps us reproduce the error.

  • e.g., "

    1. I logged into the native iOS app.

    2. I opened Project 'Main Street Tower'.

    3. I tapped 'Jobs' and selected 'JOB-2025-001'.

    4. I selected the checkbox next to the job item..."


3. What actually happened? (The Bug!) 📸

This is the most important part.

  • Error Message: If you saw an error (like "Sync Failed" or "Error 500"), please copy and paste the exact text into your ticket.

  • Screenshot or Video: A picture or a short screen recording is the single most helpful thing you can provide!

4. What is your setup?

This tells us where to look for the problem.

  • Device: e.g., "My Windows 11 Laptop," "My iPhone 15," "My Android Tablet"

  • Browser: e.g., "Google Chrome," "Safari," "Microsoft Edge"


⚠️ What's the Business Impact?

This helps us prioritize. Please select the option from the list that best matches your situation:

  • Critical (Work is stopped / Deadline blocked)

  • High (Work is impaired, no workaround)

  • Medium(Work is impaired, but I have a workaround)

  • Low (It's an inconvenience/visual issue)


🚀 How to Submit Your Report

Once you have your info, open our Support Form.

Please fill out the form fields as follows:

  1. What do you need help with? Select "Report an Issue".

  2. Which part of GeoExtend is this about? Select the module where the bug occurred (e.g., "Jobs," "Bids").

  3. How is this impacting your work? Choose the Impact level from the checklist above (Critical, High, Medium, Low).

  4. Ticket Name (Subject): Use a clear title like "Error 500 when submitting Bid."

  5. Ticket Description: Paste your "4-Point Checklist" answers here! (Steps to reproduce, what happened).

  6. File Upload: Upload your screenshot or video here.
