# How to Set an "Active" Proposal Version

Only one version of a proposal can be "Current," which is the active version sent to the client.

1. Open the proposal.
2. Use the **Version** buttons (e.g., "V1," "V2") to select the version you want to make current .
3. Locate the **"Active Version"** toggle switch (this appears as a toggle next to the "PROPOSAL NUMBER" field in the monday.com view).![](https://help.eligeo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Nov-12-2025-11-52-31-6202-PM.png?width=670&height=330&name=image-png-Nov-12-2025-11-52-31-6202-PM.png)
4. Click the toggle to the "on" (blue) position.
5. Click the **Update** button to save. This version is now the "Current" one.

**Note: An invoice can only be created from the "Active version" of a proposal.**
