How to Create a New Job or Task

  1. Navigate to the Jobs module (Jobs board) from the left menu.
  2. Click the New + button in the top-right corner.
  3. The "New Job" or "New Task" form will open.
  4. Fill in the job details:
    • Title: A clear name for the job or task (e.g., "Fence removal").
    • Worker or Responsible User: Select the worker or Responsible User from the dropdown list.
    • Project: Link the job to an existing project (optional).
    • Status: This will default to "Initiated".
    • Trade: (e.g., "Site Work")
    • Priority: (e.g., "Medium")
    • Start Date Time and End Date Time.
    • Estimated Hours.
    • Description.
  5. Click Save & Continue. This creates the job or Task and takes you to its detail page.
